Details :
| • Giving day-to-day advice both oral and in writing, including holding conferences on all industrial/labour matters under various statutes and all other laws.
• Keeping posted of the latest developments in industrial and labour laws by furnishing latest caselaws, information on various amendments to labour and industrial laws / statutes by way of issuing circulars, bulletins, notifications etc.
• Preparing and/or vetting appointment letters, contracts, settlements, correspondence with union, sending replies to legal notices received on behalf of the employees/union etc.
• Attending various Authorities under labour statutes, such as PF/ESI Authorities, Authorities under Shops & Establishments Act / Contract Labour Act and assisting in obtaining licences/ registration under Shops Act, Contract Labour Act etc.
• Advising on disciplinary matters, such as preparing show cause notices, chargesheets, warning memos, suspension letters, dismissal letters, as also advising on conducting of enquiry and its procedures etc.
• Handling / conducting the Court matters, by defending the Company in Supreme Court, High Court,
• Handling of comprehensive audit work under various industrial and labour legislations, including the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970 and providing related legal assistances thereon.
• Filing of Writ Petitions in the High Court, challenging any Govt. / Administrative / quasi-judicial authority’s actions / orders/ judgements / notifications etc., by which the companies are aggrieved and conducting such matters in the Courts. |
